Buying an electric car is a significant investment. Trust your Tesla, or any other electric car charging needs, to the local experts! Same Day Electric has been trained to install electric charging equipment and we adhere to strict quality, permitting, and inspection requirements. In fact, we are Tesla’s only recommended electrician in Idaho.

Most electric vehicle owners choose to charge their vehicles at home overnight. To charge at home, Same Day Electric recommends installing your manufacturer specific wall connector near your parking space. Alternatively, a 240-volt NEMA 1450R outlet can be used for home charging if your manufacturer provides you with a Mobile Connector. Not sure which option to choose? Give us a call!

There are typically at least two charging systems available for your specific make and model: one that is cheaper but charges more slowly and one that is more costly up front but will charge your vehicle more quickly. No two electric vehicles are exactly the same. Same Day Electric installs exactly what your manufacturer recommends.

When shopping for your wall connector, consider the length of the cord. Your vehicle manufacturer will typically sell a shorter and longer length cord. The maximum cord length allowed by the National Electrical Code is 25’. As a rule, you should be able to easily reach your vehicle with the charger, and you don’t want the cord to be pulled tight. If you have more than a one-car garage, you’ll likely want to go for the longer length cord so you can charge your car from any parking position.

Same Day Electric is ready to install your Tesla car charging station, or a car charging station for any other make and model, in Boise, Eagle, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell and Kuna!
